I know there are a lot of amazing and delicious cookie bakers out there, but if you are stuck for time and on a budget then these dainty little teatime treats from Waitrose will fit the bill perfectly. Place in funky boxes (try Paperchase) or wrap in cellophane for favours and you could even add a little Alice in Wonderland style 'Eat Me' tag with your guests names on them to double up as place settings. I think the gorgeous teapot cookies are more useful than a chocolate teapot and would look great with an afternoon tea spread.
