I've come across Sliding Vinyl and think that if you are struggling to find a DJ that isn't like something straight out of Phoenix Nights then speak to these guys. They are a bespoke service with tonnes of wedding experience offering a music collection from 1950's to the present day and as they tailor the night to suit you, you can choose as much of the playlist as you want, so if you really wanted more Girls Aloud and less Dexy's Midnight Runners your wish can be granted (that's me sorted then!). Likewise if you are one of those people who is struggling to come up with more than a few songs then this can be left in their expert hands to spin some tunes that suit the audience on the night, as let's face it, crowds can vary. As if that doesn't sound good enough (get it?), you can have added extras such as a live Saxophone player (from Hed Kandi, no less) which is sure enough to get even the most shy on the dance floor and if you're crowd don't get up to thorw some shapes under the glitter ball also available for hire, then to be honest, I don't know what will.
